A glamour model who appeared in the reality TV series Geordie Shore has died after falling from a first floor flat in Brighton.
Aimee Spencer, who worked under the name Carla Mai, fell from the window of the flat on 11 July and died from her injuries a week later. She was 27.
Ms Spencer appeared in an episode of Geordie Shore with regular cast member Vicky Pattison and was also a trained chef with a level 3 diploma.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said her death was being treated as suspicious. A 28-year-old man from Brighton has been arrested in connection with her death.
A 28-year-old woman has also been detained on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply. They are both on bail until 5 September.
Sussex Police said in a statement: “The 27-year-old woman who fell from a window of a Brighton flat has sadly died from her injuries at the Royal Sussex County Hospital on Monday.
“The woman had been in a critical condition since she was discovered having fallen from the first-floor flat window in Chichester Terrace on Monday 11 July at 9.08am.
“Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of how she fell from the window.”
