Only one night into her Adele Live arena tour and the singer has helped an audience member propose to her partner.

The 27-year-old has embarked on a 140 date arena tour across Europe and North America which sold out in minutes when they were released back in December.

The first stop of the tour was on Monday evening at the SSE Arena in Belfast.

As it was February 29th, a day traditional for women proposing to their boyfriends, the "Hello" singer helped out a female fan who had apparently already proposed to her partner earlier on in the day, although he hadn't actually given her a definitive answer, instead replying "maybe".

Adele picked out Hayley from Essex, who told the crowd: “I already asked him earlier today… he said maybe in a little while.”

“You’ve got to say a proper yes, bruv,” Adele told Neil, the blue t-shirt wearing man, who was then met with chants of “Come on Neil” before finally saying yes.

Adele then jumped up and down on stage and said she’ll join them for the wedding as they only live "down the road".
