Ever thought you could design a computer game? The European Leisure Software Publishers Association (Elspa) has launched a New Game Designer of the Year competition. Prizes will include pounds 5,000, three Sony Yarozes and chart-topping games. Entries on any format for 3D animation, game demos or animated storyboards, and full games. Entrants must be unpublished commercially or as shareware and must not have worked in the industry for five years.
