Szu, formerly president and founder of NuCom Systems Inc, joined Network Peripherals after it acquired NuCom last march. He will report to NPI's president and CEO, Pauline Lo Alker.
NCI (Network Computer Inc), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oracle, has formed a European subsidiary to market its network computer software and technology solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Milan- based operation will be headed by Mauro Righetti, a 20-year Oracle veteran. He will report to Jerry Baker, NCI president.
Siemens Nixdorf has appointed Chris Brackley as new business sales manager for its IT service line. Brackley joins Siemens Nixdorf from Olivetti, where he was a service sales manager.
Compaq has appointed Adam Denton to the post of small and medium enterprise market-maker, and Steve Torbe to Deskpro product manager. Denton arrives from Motorola, where he was a regional manager. Torbe joins Compaq from Elonex, where he was a senior product manager.
Fore Systems has appointed Greg Ferguson to the position of general manager of the service provider business unit. Ferguson was president of Cadia Networks until it was acquired by Fore in December. Fore has also appointed Brian Bakoglu to the position of general manager of the enterprise business unit. Bakoglu joined Fore last year as vice president of engineeringn
