Music and movies are hot topics spinning off Twitter users' keyboards on the morning of January 6. "Now playing (#nowplaying)" continues its run in the top position on Twitter's list of trends for the third day running.

"Come Again" by Sting from Songs From The Labyrinth, "Feeling good" by Nina Simone and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" (at the highest possible volume) are just some of the songs people on Twitter are currently listening to.

Cold temperatures and heavier than normal snow falls are a constant topic of conversation on Twitter on the morning of January 6.

Twitter user @benmarsh has created a special UK Snow map (located at http://uksnow.benmarsh.co.uk/) that tracks tweets containing the term #uksnow in real time, both plotting them (and any attached snow pictures) on the map and indicating the amount of snow seen at different post-code locations in the UK.

Google's Nexus One mobile phone is getting heavy coverage on Twitter on the morning of January 6 after the company announced the launch of the Android-powered superphone on January 5.
