"Bonamana" - the name of the fourth studio album and lead single by Korean pop group Super Junior - is also taking Twitter by storm this morning. "Bonamana" is trending in second place.
The Filipino word for election, "halalan" is in third place as the presidential election takes place in the Philippines.
Twitter superstar Justin Bieber is moving back up the charts, sitting comfortably at number four.
A meme about things mothers might say, "#blackmamaquotes," takes the fifth position on Twitter's trending topics.
Soshified, a fan page and internet forum for the Korean pop group Girls' Generation, has launched a new airport lounge layout and fans are tweeting about the page's new look. "The new layout feels so homey yet so International-ish", "the new #soshified theme is so elegant and cool! and i feel like going to the airport with the girls as the airport staff," say fans using the "Soshified" hashtag on Twitter.
"#Facebooknames" is in seventh place followed by the shortened version of the Now Playing, "#np".
Posts by twitter user Teen Life Feel are being retweeted around the microblogs with the "TLF" hashtag. The "TLF" tweets discussing the ups and down of teen life have driven the term into ninth place. Meanwhile "#hbu," short for "how 'bout you," is trending in tenth place.
