Your support makes all the difference.A MAN was seriously ill in hospital last night after being hit by a police car answering a 999 call. Andrew Bradburn, 37, of Carbisdale Street, Springburn, Glasgow, was struck by the marked car, which was travelling west on Hawthorn Street, near his home, at about 12.40am on Saturday.
Police said that the car's siren and flashing lights were operating at the time of the accident. Mr Bradburn was detained in the Southern General Hospital with serious head and body injuries. Police launched an inquiry into the incident.
