The Liberal Democrats appear to be the main beneficiaries of a dip in Labour's support after the highly publicised summer rumblings of dissent over Tony Blair's leadership. The Liberal Democrats have increased their support from 12 to 15 per cent.
A Mori poll for today's Times shows Labour at 56 per cent compared with 59 per cent in July. But the Tories have failed to reap the benefit, dropping from 26 to 25 per cent.
