The former government minister, Sir Nicholas Scott, who was arrested and breathalysed after a car accident involving a toddler, has had his police bail extended. Sir Nicholas, Tory MP for Chelsea, was released on police bail without charge after the accident in which a three-year- old boy was trapped between two cars on 1 June.
