VICE-CHANCELLOR Sir John Daniel will be asking "Has the Open University lived up to the ideals of its founders?" when he gives the annual Jean Posthuma memorial lecture on Saturday 28 November at Guildford Civic Centre.

The lecture, organised by the Association of Open University Graduates, will be followed by a discussion.

Admission is by ticket only, available free of charge from the AOUG office at Walton Hall.

Those graduating in Paris on Saturday 12 September are invited to join AOUG members at a special celebration dinner in the Latin Quarter.
