City fears serial rapist is on loose

DETECTIVES HUNTING the killer of Claire Streader, 24, who was strangled in Canterbury, are investigating links with a rape and two attempted abductions. Police have told women in the city to take precautions amid fears that a serial rapist is at large. The body of Ms Streader, who has an eight- year-old son, was found on a playing field close to her home on Tuesday.
