Car thief steals keys to Windsor

Police were last night hunting a thief who stole a car containing three keys which open security gates to the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The blue Granada Scorpio was stolen yesterday from a driveway outside the Windsor home of a member of the Metropolitan Police's royal protection squad.

Scotland Yard said the car also contained his uniform, correspondence relating to Castle events and parking passes for the Castle grounds.
