The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a record high of 7,225, up 123, on growing perceptions that economic data to be released this week will not prompt the Federal Reserve to raise short-term interest rates at its meeting on 20 May.Technology stocks led the surge, with one dealer commenting: "It's just unstoppable."
