Merrill Lynch, already Manchester Utd's broker, could join Caspian's City team.
rLynx, the computer group, fell 2.5p to 81p. Stockbroker Greig Middleton has nudged up its profit forecasts to pounds 9.3m this year and pounds 11.5m next. It rates the shares a buy.
rTrouble at Woodstock, the Ofex traded pub company. Bass, the brewing giant, has appointed a receiver to Woodstock's Kingston Inn subsidiary, which has 45 pubs. Woodstock shares are suspended at 15p.
