Storehouse director leaves

STOREHOUSE, THE struggling Bhs and Mothercare retailer which issued a profits warning on Monday is parting company with its development director Steve Bedford. He will depart with a pay-off equivalent to one year's salary of pounds 244,000.

Following the departure of the group's chief executive, Keith Edelman, in the spring, Storehouse now has only three executive directors. Mr Bedford, who has been at Storehouse for 12 years, is leaving after the completion of a major information technology programme removed the need for a main board director with IT responsibility. He is looking to pursue a career in e-commerce.
