bStanelco 14.87p (up 2.87p, 23.9 per cent). Unveils pounds 4.8m fund raising at 12.8p along with news of a deal for its technology.

bDelling Group 19.75p (up 3.75p, 23.5 per cent). Announces a series of contract wins worth pounds 3.7m.

bAtlantic Global 44p (up 6p, 15.8 per cent). Says its turnover for 2004 will stand at pounds 2.2m, up 10 per cent on the previous year.

bStarvest 14p (up 1.5p, 12.0 per cent). Investors applaud first-half results from the group.

bSportingbet 272.5p (up 14p, 5.2 per cent). Unveils an ultra-bullish trading statement.

nShell 472.25p (down 14.5p, 2.9 per cent). The stock goes ex-dividend.

nRio Tinto 1,621p (down 29p, 1.8 per cent). Morgan Stanley downgrades its rating on the stock to "equal-weight" from "overweight".

nKesa Electricals 328p (down 8.75p, 2.6 per cent). UBS downgrades its stance to "neutral" from "buy".

nBAT 972.5p (down 10p, 1.1 per cent). Profit taking after strong gains.
