SDL, A software customising company, is to list on the Stock Exchange through an pounds 11m placing of shares designed to provide additional working capital and funds for expansion.
SDL provides product and service solutions to companies who need their products and Web sites adapted for different markets around the world. David Svendsen, chairman of Microsoft UK, and Christopher Batterham, business development director of UUNet, have been appointed as non-executive directors. SDL's clients include such information technology companies as Microsoft, Adobe and eBay. Collins Stewart is broker and adviser to the company.
