SCOOT.COM, the online information company, said yesterday it had signed a deal with BBCAmerica.com, a subsidiary of the British broadcaster, to run its business listings on the news service's website.
The agreement will mark Scoot.com's initial foray into the United States. Its shares rose 1.5p yesterday to close at 82.75p. Last week, the company linked up with France's Vivendi to extend its reach into continental Europe.
