Royal Assurance sells US Insurer
Royal Insurance has sold Millbank Insurance Company of South Dakota, a US personal lines insurer bought for dollars 17m in 1982, for dollars 50m. State Automobile Insurance of Columbus, Ohio, is the buyer. Royal is concentrating on larger commercial insurances. Millbank had net premiums of dollars 46m last year.
