Investors in commercial property and bankers who lend to them have given up hope of a significant improvement in the London property market this year. As a group, they are also less optimistic about rental growth in the capital than six months ago, take a gloomier view of the UK's economic prospects and rate London less highly as a financial centre. The downbeat findings are in a survey by Richard Ellis, the surveyors, and Gallup.
