Pay rise for Dairy Crest chief

John Houliston, chief executive of the milk and cheese co-operative Dairy Crest, received a 35 per cent pay increase last year, when he earned pounds 233,000. Dairy Crest, part of the Milk Marketing Board, hopes to float on the stock market next year.
