McAlpine director on the move

Ken Lever, finance director of building group Alfred McAlpine is leaving to take up a similar post at Albright & Wilson, the chemicals company. On Thursday, Alfred McAlpine announced a fall in half-year profits to pounds 56,000 compared with pounds 3m last year.
