Macdonald Hotels to seek listing

Macdonald Hotels, headed by former Stakis director Donald Macdonald, said it is to seek a stock market listing in a placing which will raise about pounds 24m. The company owns 16 mid-market hotels. Publishing its pathfinder prospectus, the company forecast pre-tax profits of not less than pounds 4.7m compared with pounds 3.65m last time.
