Your support makes all the difference.Shares in Lloyds TSB banking group rose 4.5p to 343.5p on the first day of dealings in the merged group yesterday. The group said that Kent Atkinson, chief financial officer of Lloyds, would be group chief financial officer of Lloyds TSB. It also said it was "far too early to say" what its intentions were for TSB's merchant banking operation, Hill Samuel, after a newspaper report that it was ready to sell the business.
