A Californian judge has thrown out a case brought by 600 members of Lloyd's who sought to show the society had acted fraudulently in inducing them to join. Judge Irma Gonzalez upheld the validity of an undertaking signed by all members of Lloyd's which recognises that all disputes must be heard in England.
