Kinnock opposes air deal

Neil Kinnock, the European Union Transport Minister, will protest to the UK about its aviation agreement with the US to liberalise transatlantic air travel. The commission says bilateral deals undermine the EU's attempts to liberalise Europe's aviation market. Mr Kinnock has threatened court action if EU states sign separate deals.
