Innovation: Codes on the menu

Encrypta Electronics has designed a security system for airport vehicles making regular trips that is being tested by Forte Airport Catering Services at Heathrow and Birmingham airports. The Encrypta system generates a new number every time the doors are sealed. It is thus possible to check at any stage that the vehicle is still secure and has not been opened since loading, by checking that the seal number is unchanged.
