Have fun and win pounds 10,000
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.IF YOU think you have what it takes to compete with the best you should be taking part in the Independent Management Game.
At stake is pounds 10,000 plus the opportunity to take part in an international final for the winning team, as well as pounds 5,000 in cash prizes for the runners-up. The game, sponsored by National Westminster Bank, simulates the operation of a small-to-medium enterprise in the European Union. It involves teams of five or six 'directors' - which may come from business, schools and colleges or be made up of individuals - competing in a knock-out.
The game is a cost-effective way of introducing staff to business or new ideas without incurring real-life risks. But it is also fun.
If you want to take part, or obtain further information, please call 081-671 7733 or fax 081-671 4552. Application forms, available from those numbers, must be returned by 29 April. But those returned by 1 April will be eligible for a discount on the entry fee.
