Euro Disney, operator of the Disneyland Paris theme park, said third-quarter revenues had risen 8 per cent, driven by higher attendance and hotel occupancies. Excluding asset sales, operating revenues rose from Fr1.42bn to Fr1.54bn (pounds 150m) in the three months to 30 June.

Sales over the first nine months of the year were up 11 per cent at 3.67bn francs. A Euro Disney spokesman, said average spending per visitor had risen for the first time in the third quarter, although he admitted the increase was small.
