Surinder Arora on Arora Group’s roots and international expansion
Marking the launch of this year’s E2E Dynamic 100 track, we spent 100 seconds with three entrepreneurial UK businesses who are setting the standard for Dynamic businesses everywhere
Surinder Arora is the founder/chairman of Arora Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing hospitality operators. Within 12 years of its opening in Heathrow in 1999, it became the largest family-owned hotel company in the UK.
Operating across real estate and construction as well as hotels, the company owes a lot to successful networking – as Surinder puts it, “you can never clap with one hand”.
There are lots of exciting things on the horizon for Arora Group, including expanding overseas to Dublin airport and upgrading its Luton Hoo property to a Fairmont, which is on the shortlist to host the 2031 Ryder Cup.
