Consultants' revenues rise

Leading management consultants in the UK saw their quarterly revenues pass pounds 500m for the first time, according to the latest survey from the Management Consultancies Association. The organisation, which claims its members work for the vast majority of the biggest companies and account for more than 50 per cent of fees in the sector, reported 3.4 per cent growth in the third quarter, traditionally the weakest of the year, and predicted total income for 1997 of pounds 2bn.
