Jarvis is making a one-for-one rights issue at 14p a share to raise pounds 2.35m. It made a pre-tax loss of pounds 3.72m in the year to the end of December against a previous profit of pounds 143,000. There was no total dividend (0.575p). Its net assets were 74p a share at the year end. The company is disposing of two properties worth pounds 1.05m.

Bespak has acquired Medix Group for an initial cash sum of pounds 1.14m. Deferred consideration of up to 225,000 Bespak shares will be made to the vendor depending on performance of Medix over the next five years.

BDA Holdings made a pre-tax loss of pounds 1.16m in the year to the end of January against a profit of pounds 18,000. There was no final dividend. Net asset value fell to 24.7p a share from 32.8p.

Cooper Clarke made profits before tax of pounds 203,000 in the year to the end of December against pounds 126,000 in the final six months of 1991. There was no dividend.
