Half-year to 31 July

Delyn Group, maker of consumer packaging materials, boosted pre- tax profits to pounds 500,000 ( pounds 218,000), aided by the sale of surplus land and debt reduction to pounds 1.8m ( pounds 3.3m). Dividend is 0.5p (0.45p).

Clinton Cards reduced pre-tax losses to pounds 1.3m (loss pounds 2.3m). Interim dividend is held at 1.5p.

Berry Birch & Noble, the financial services group, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 519,000 ( pounds 368,000). Interim dividend is 2p.

Pochins, construction and civil engineer, raised pre-tax profits to pounds 2.46m ( pounds 2.43m) in the year to 31 May. Total dividend is 29p (24p).

Intereurope Technology Services, the engineering design group, fell to pounds 1.2m ( pounds 1.4m) pre-tax profit in the year to 30 June. Final is 5.4p, making 7.4p (same).

Half-year to 30 June

Capital & Regional Properties incurred a pounds 137,000 pre-tax loss (profit pounds 248,000). Interim dividend is held at 0.3p.

Serif, the printing and leisure products group, made pounds 143,000 pre-tax profit (loss pounds 885,000).
