Half year to 30 June

Alida Holdings, the plastic products maker, jumped to pounds 445,000 (pounds 117,000) pre-tax profit.

Delaney Group, the furniture maker and shopfitter, cut pre-tax losses from pounds 646,000 to pounds 495,000. Year to 30 June

Sunset & Vine, the television programmes producer, reported a slight fall from pounds 702,000 to pounds 687,000 pre-tax profit. Final dividend is 2p, making 3.5p (same).

Ben Bailey Construction incurred pre-tax losses of pounds 443,000 (profit pounds 317,000). Final is 0.25p, making 0.55p (0.8p).

Half year to 31 July

QS Holdings, the clothing retailer, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 3.9m (pounds 3.6m). Dividend is 1.56p.

S&U Stores, which provides retail consumer financial services, increased pre-tax profits from pounds 1.7m to pounds 2.1m. Dividend is 2.4p (2.2p).

Others

North American Gas Investment Trust's net asset value declined to 55.5p (69.4p) at the year-end of 31 July. Total dividend is 2.25p.

Harmony Leisure, the restaurant, pub and hotel operator, deepened pre-tax losses to pounds 3.7m (pounds 2.2m) in the year to 31 March.
