AG Barr, the soft drinks maker, more than doubled pre-tax profits from pounds 1.2m to pounds 2.6m in the six months to 30 April, helped by warm weather over the period and production cuts. Interim dividend is raised to 1.75p (1.083p).

Wilshaw, the building products maker and engineering products supplier, sharply increased pre-tax profits to pounds 1.3m ( pounds 732,000) in the year to 31 March. Final dividend is 0.3p, making 0.4p (0.3p).

City Site Estates reversed a pounds 1.9m pre-tax loss to produce pre-tax profits of pounds 190,000 in the six months to 31 March. No dividend.

Reliance Security lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 3.4m ( pounds 3.25m) for the year to 30 April. Final dividend is 6.8p, making 9p (8.4p).

Associated Nursing Services returned a pounds 1.5m pre-tax profit (loss pounds 2.3m) for the year to 31 March. No dividend.

Daejan Holdings reported a pre- tax profit pounds 16.22m ( pounds 16.36m) for the year to March 1992. EPS 64.15p (62.12p). A final dividend of 13p makes 25p (24p).
