Multitone Electronics, the specialist radio communications maker, reported a sharp drop in pre-tax profits from pounds 875,000 to pounds 40,000 in the six months to 31 October. Loss per share is 1.12p (EPS 4.03p). Dividend is held at 1.5p.

OMI International, which makes electro-optics and instrumentation, recovered to pounds 237,000 pre-tax profit (loss pounds 2.7m) in the six months to 30 September. Earnings per share are 0.5p (LPS 6.1p). Dividend is held at 0.75p.

Scottish Investment Trust is to pay a 3.2p final dividend, making 4.9p (4.62p) total payout for the year to 31 October. Net asset value per share improved to 280p (217.3p).

Stoddard Sekers, maker of carpets and furnishing fabrics, saw pre-tax profits shrink to pounds 167,000 (pounds 432,000) in the six months to 30 September. Loss per share is 0.1p (EPS 0.3p). Dividend is held at 0.75p.

Vistec Group, computer systems and services supplier, slipped to pounds 1.1m (pounds 1.3m) pre-tax profit in the six months to 31 October. Earnings per share are 0.62p (0.73p). Interim dividend is held at 0.125p.

Quadramatic's pre-tax profits were pounds 1.6m in the six months to 30 September (pounds 4.6m pro forma year to 30 September). EPS 5.5p (9.8p). Dividend 5.1p (9.2p).
