Year ended 30 November

BWD Securities, the stockbroker and porfolio manager, reported a fall in pre-tax profits to pounds 1.7m (pounds 2.1m). Final dividend is 1.9p, making 3.2p (3p).

Grosvenor Development Capital, which provides venture capital to private companies, lifted the total dividend to 1p (0.95p), despite a fall in pre-tax profits from pounds 287,000 to pounds 272,000.

Radius, the computer systems company, boosted pre-tax profits from pounds 366,000 to pounds 1.2m. Turnover fell to pounds 24m (pounds 28.1m). Final dividend is 1.8p, making 2.7p (same).

Year ended 31 December

Brent Chemicals International, the industrial chemicals maker, more than doubled pre-tax profits from pounds 5.2m to pounds 11.5m. Turnover rose to pounds 119.8m (pounds 99.9m). Final dividend is 5.8p, making 7.4p (7.34p).

Trans World Communications, the independent radio stations operator, announced the reversal from a pounds 1.8m taxable loss to pre-tax profits of pounds 1.1m. Total dividend is 0.8p.

Metal Bulletin, the publisher and conference organiser, advanced pre-tax profits to pounds 1.9m (pounds 1.7m). Final dividend is 5.3p, making 8p (7.4p).

Stat-Plus Group, the office forms printer, made pounds 3.6m (pounds 4.8m) pre-tax profit. Final dividend is 4.44p, making 8p.

Six months to 31 December

SR Gent, the clothing manufacturer, achieved a 47 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to pounds 986,000 (pounds 672,000). Turnover declined to pounds 59.8m (pounds 67.8m). It maintained the dividend at 0.75p.

Linx Printing Technology lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 763,000 (pounds 746,000). Dividend is 0.35p.

Savage Group, the hardware products maker and supplier, increased pre-tax profits to pounds 1m (pounds 680,000). Dividend is 0.25p.

Other

Triton Europe, the gas and oil exploration and production company, dived from pounds 2.8m to report pounds 18,000 pre-tax profit for the six months to 30 November. Turnover fell to pounds 9.4m (pounds 12m). No dividend.
