Dundee & London IT has cut the total dividend payout from 12p to 9p despite a 37 per cent rise in net asset value per share to 303.4 over the year to 31 October.

Year to 30 September

Enviromed, biotechnology and medical equipment maker, made pounds 546,000 pre-tax profit ( pounds 432,000 loss) in four months to 30 Sept. EPS 7.13p (LPS 32.2p). No dividend.

H Young Holdings, which provides distribution services, returned lower pre-tax profits of pounds 787,000 ( pounds 1.5m). EPS 5.4p (4.1p). Total dividend 3.3p (3p).

Six months to 30 September

Philip Harris, medical and scientific equipment supplier, made pre- tax profits of pounds 378,000 ( pounds 806,000). EPS 2.42p (6.6p). Div 2.2p (same).

JLI Group, food processor and distributor, fell from pounds 1.8m to pounds 1.3m pre-tax profit. EPS 2.1p (3.2p). Dividend is 1.6p (1.55p).

Metrotech Industries turned in pounds 559,000 ( pounds 770,000) pre-tax profit. EPS 1.49p (2.4p). Dividend is 1.15p.

West Trust, the cloth maker and merchant, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 172,000 ( pounds 25,000). EPS 0.75p (0.19p). Dividend is 0.2p.
