Shiloh, the spinning yarns and healthcare products manufacturer, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 757,000 ( pounds 503,000) for the year to 31 March. Earnings per share 8.74p (5.82p). Total dividend is 2.9p (2.75p).

Haemocell, the blood filtrations systems maker, deepened net losses from pounds 783,000 to pounds 868,000 in the six months to 28 February. Loss per share was held at 4.3p. No dividend.

Eadie Holdings, the engineering group, fell to pounds 806,000 ( pounds 1.2m) pre-tax profit for the year ended 31 December. Earnings per share 1.42p (loss 0.22p). Total dividend is 0.5p (nil).

Reece incurred pounds 662,000 pre-tax loss (profit pounds 373,000) for the year ended 31 December. Loss per share is 0.52p (earnings 0.43p). No dividend.

Hoare Govett Smaller Companies IT's net asset value stood at 108.1p at the end of the six months to 31 March. No dividend.

Murray Split Capital Trust's net asset value per capital and zero pref shares rose to 172.2p (94.6p) and 118.8p (112.6p) respectively, but the income share values slipped to 50.2p (51.2p) per share. No dividend.

New Frontiers Development IT's net asset value per share stood at 84.1p, up from 61.6p at the end of the six months to 31 March. No dividend.
