Dale Electric is to raise pounds 4.5m in a two-for-three rights issue of 9.1 million shares at 55p per share.

Year to 31 December

Atlas Converting Equipment reported lower pre-tax profits of pounds 4.1m ( pounds 5m). EPS 28.8p (41p). Final dividend 15p (22p).

Breedon slipped to pounds 1.6m ( pounds 1.8m) pre-tax profit. EPS 3.86p (4.41p). Total dividend held at 4.6p.

Capital Industries boosted pre-tax profits from pounds 2.4m to pounds 4.5m helped by a sharp increase in turnover from pounds 34.5m to pounds 74.8m. EPS 12.9p (9.8p). Total dividend 4.4p (4p).

Garton Engineering declined to pounds 210,000 ( pounds 254,000) pre-tax profit. EPS 3.7p (4.83p). Total dividend 4.5p (4p).

Hornby Group edged up to pounds 1.5m ( pounds 1.45m) pre-tax profit. EPS 10.9p (11.5p). Total dividend held at 9p.

Macallan-Glenlivet fell to pounds 5.7m ( pounds 7m) pre-tax profit. EPS 3.62p (4.45p). Total dividend 1.1p (0.915p).

Monument Oil and Gas made pre- tax profits of pounds 8.1m ( pounds 4.1m). EPS 1.2p (0.6p). No dividend.

Portmeirion Potteries reported higher pre-tax profits of pounds 4.2m ( pounds 3.7m). EPS 28.42p (22.67p). Total dividend 9p (7.75p).

Ticketing Group achieved pounds 614,000 pre-tax profit (loss pounds 13.3m). EPS 0.09p (LPS 14.57p).

Six months to 31 December

Blackwood Hodge incurred pounds 5m taxable loss (profit pounds 147,000). Loss per share 3.3p (0.7p). There is no dividend.

James Halstead increased pre-tax profits to pounds 5.5m ( pounds 4m). EPS 10.16p (8.94p). Dividend 2.75p (2.5p).
