BWD Securities, the stockbroker and fund manager, increased pre- tax profits from pounds 1.8m to pounds 2.25m in the six months to 31 May on turnover which rose from pounds 7.4m to pounds 8.7m. Eps 7.7p (6p). Dividend is 1.7p (1.5p).

Savills, the estate agents, saw pre- tax profits jump from pounds 1.4m to pounds 3.2m for the year to 30 April. There was a doubling of profits from Savills' agricultural and residential division with profits from commercial property also sharply higher, benefiting from last year's increased confidence in the property market. Eps 6.2p (2.2p). Total dividend is 2.25p (1p).

Waterglade, the property developer, deepened taxable losses from pounds 954,000 to pounds 2.4m in the six months to 30 November, suffering from a sharp fall in turnover to pounds 172,000 ( pounds 1m) and lower net rents received. Lps worsened from 0.08p to 0.24p. No dividend.

Year to 31 March

Colorvision, the videos and televisions retailer, slumped from pounds 1.8m to pounds 203,000 pre-tax profit. Eps 0.2p (0.56p). No dividend.

PSIT, the property investment company, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 12m ( pounds 9.6m). Eps improved to 7.03p (5.86p). Total dividend is 4.625p (4.125p).

Trifast, the industrial fastenings distributor, drove pre-tax profits up from pounds 2m to pounds 2.6m. Eps 12.23p (9.11p). Total dividend is 0.86p.
