Life Style float pitched at pounds 25m

Life Style Care is set to become the latest nursing and residential home operator to float on the Stock Exchange. The group, which is active in the North, North-west and Midlands, plans to come to market with a value of up to pounds 25m.

Bulls back off

Fund managers are less bullish about the performance of UK equities over the coming three months, according to the latest Smith New Court/Gallup survey.

Pentos rights

The pounds 45m rights issue launched by Pentos, the Dillons to Rymans retailer, closed with 83 per cent of the shares offered taken up. The balance has been placed with institutions at a 2p premium to the 25p offer price.
