Illion, the computer network company formerly called Persona, announced a 28 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to pounds 4.03m on turnover up 36 per cent to pounds 88.4m despite the strength of sterling, thanks to expansion into continental Europe and its pounds 4.1m acquisition of Microware International Marketing, a German software distributor.
