Amerada Hess has found a recession-beater. The US oil company sold 1.2 million of these trucks at its 600 fuel stations in less than a month after Thanksgiving. This feat has been achieved by offering old-fashioned value for money. For dollars 11.99 ( pounds 7.80), you get a 15-inch lorry strong enough to stand on and a Porsche racing car tucked away in the back.
