CHANCELLOR Gordon Brown yesterday launched a debate on productivity as part of his pre-Budget report consultation.

At the first nationwide "productivity challenge" roadshow in Edinburgh, Mr Brown said: "The Government wants to work together with business and educators to raise our productivity and match the best in the world."
