BOEING, the US aerospace giant which recently lost a major aircraft order from British Airways, has replaced its commercial aircraft chief, Ron Woodward. The move comes after a year of poor profits and production delays which cost it $3bn (pounds 1.9bn).
The new commercial aircraft chief is Alan Mulally, who managed the launch of Boeing's 777 model range.
