BICC Group, the cables and electrical equipment group, has confirmed that its unit BICC Communications has won two partnering contracts, together worth around pounds 100m over the next three years. BICC said its unit has agreed to supply optical and metallic cable services for telecommunication and cable television networks on an exclusive basis for three years.

The company also said the unit also won a contract to supply ESAT Telecom of Ireland.
