ING, the Dutch rescuer of Barings, will decide at the end of this month whether to dismiss any executives at the British merchant bank, ahead of the Bank of England's report on its collapse, an ING spokesman, Ruud Polet, said. He would not say how many Barings executives could lose their jobs, but said the figure was likely to be less than' 20. ING is not expected to announce any plans for Barings - including any possible dismissals - at its annual results news conference on 19 April.
