STOCKS slipped to session lows in afternoon trading, with the Dow falling 92 points to 10,817, as technology stocks shifted lower in thin trading. Airlines and PC makers continued weak.
Analysts expect light trading to continue until there are firmer indications on interest rates. Wall Street is looking to the release of the May consumer price index next week to decide which way to bet ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting at the end of June.
