SHARES on Wall Street moved lower in morning trading, influenced by the continued weakness of technology stocks and the expiry of May option contracts.

Financials weakened with Citigroup down 1 3/4 at $67 1/4 and Amex 2 1/4 lower at $121 1/8. Among technology stocks IBM, Sun Microsystems and AOL all eased.

Airlines were affected by falling revenue figures and anti-trust action against AMR.
